Madam Ngan Kit-ling is interested, as nominee of the company, in 10 ordinary shares in Island Communication Enterprises Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the company.
Madam Ngan Kit-ling is the sole proprietor of Ngan & Co., one of the company's solicitors, and as such has an interest in legal fees and expenses paid by the company to that firm.
At no time during the year was the company or its subsidiary a party to any arrangements to enable the directors of the company to acquire benefits by means of the acquisition of shares in or debentures of the company or any other body corporate.
AUDITORS
At the company's last annual general meeting, Peat, Marwick, Mitchell & Co. were reappointed auditors of the company. They are now practising under the name of Peat Marwick and accordingly they have signed the audit report in their new name. A resolution for their reappointment as auditors is to be proposed at the forthcoming annual general meeting.
