Madam Ngan Kit-ling is interested, as nominee of the company, in 10 ordinary shares in Island Communication Enterprises Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the company.
Madam Ngan Kit-ling is the sole proprietor of Ngan & Co., one of the company's solicitors, and as such has an interest in legal fees and expenses paid by the company to that firm.
Mr. M.T. Geoffrey Yeh is a director and shareholder of Hsin Chong Holdings (HK) Limited, the holding company of Hsin Chong Construction Company Limited ("Hsin Chong"), contractor for the construction of the company's new bus depot at Wong Chuk Hang, Aberdeen, and as such has an interest in construction costs paid by the company to Hsin Chong.
At no time during the year was the company or its subsidiary a party to any arrangements to enable the directors of the company to acquire benefits by means of the acquisition of shares in or debentures of the company or any other body corporate.
AUDITORS
A resolution for the re-appointment of Peat, Marwick, Mitchell & Co. as auditors of the company is to be proposed at the forthcoming annual general meeting.
