Manchester, Nov. 27. Dave Charnley, the European, British and British Empire lightweight champion, tonight scored his second knockout win in eight days when he knocked out L. C. Morgan, of the United States, in the third round of their non-title fight here.

Only a week ago Charnley retained his three titles when he knocked out Darkie Hughes, of Wales, in the British Champion- ship record time of 40 seconds.

Tonight's scheduled ten- round contest ended abruptly halfway through the third round. A left hook from Charnley sent the coloured American down, and he just failed to beat the count.

For as long as the fight world-ranked Morgan provided tremendous opposition. But with the rate punches were Hying, someone. had, to --and it was the American.

Sydney, Nov, 27. English Kugby League Council's decision to send a British team to tour Australia next year after all has been welcomed here by Mr -Bill Buckley, chairman of the Australian Board of Control.

"Everybody would be pleased to see them" said Mr Buckley, who added: "I am very happy at England's decision. I can assure the Englishmen they will be warmly welcomed, and I can also assure them of a very success- ful tour."
