Wall Street rises

Now York, May 15.

The stock markot rallied to another historic

high in heavy trading today,

The market was higher and active from the start and continued to improve to the close. Most stocks were around their highs for the day at the final gong.

Most gains ranged from a few cents to around $3 a share, but there were wider gains by more volatile lasues.

Standard and Poor's 800 stock indux rose 30 cents to an all- time high of 400.83. The pFC vlous high was $60.68 set un April 17.

The S&P 423 industrials also rose to a new high, up 12 cents 10 $70.68. The provious record, also set on April 17, was $70.63. Based on the index, the quoted value of all stocks listed on the New York Steck Exchange Halned about $2,300 milifun.
