IT

has occurred to me that here in Hongkong where at present we only have one dog show a year, people may feel it is impossible to learn much about the Canine Cult. I therefore offer the following suggestions for what they are worth.

Read everything you can get your hands on regarding dogs. The H.K.K.C. has several excellent books for the use of Members.

Current canine magazines are full of items of tremendous [interest and value to the dog

owner and breeder.

From reading these one learns to recognise Certain famous Breed Numes. Mention "Brillas." "Ormandy." "Ware," and Sce how doggy people priek their ears.

But there are other names not so well known which are well

worth noting.
