In a game without a single redeeming feature Tung Wah defeated Eastern by four goals to one at the Hongkong Stadium yesterday afternoon and moved into the semi-finals of the Senior Shield competition.

The vast arena was only one-quarter full at the start. A mere handful of fans waited long enough to hear the final whistle: the discerning ones left long before the end.

Tung Wah deserved to win., in the semi-finals, were never fortunate that
