Army, Nav Bharat, Recreio and KCC in Hockey Cup semi-finals
KCC-ARMY FINAL NOW A
DISTINCT POSSIBILITY
Decisive results were reached in all the quarter-finals of the
Holland Cup yesterday. Kowloon Cricket Club 'A' narrowly, defented 'Macaensis 'A' 2-1 and Nav Bharat 'A' beat Royal Air Force 3-2, the winning goal being scored in the extra-time allowed for a penalty-bully. Army 'A' beat Recreio ‘B* 3-0 and Recreio 'A' reversed the procedure by beating Army 'B' by the same score.
My original forcenst was that KCC A se Army 'A' would meet in The Anal and this is now a distinct possibility, the Hemi-finals bring KCC Avs Nav Bhora! 'A' and Army 'A' va Recruia A

Macaensis as usual were very steady in defence and left-back A. Capitule was frequently far upfeld in support of the for- wards but he was mainly to blarne for their wasted comers, missing the ball completely on several occasions.
Their forward line failed to show the customary speed in attack but this was largely due to their being in the krip KCC wing-halves,

Recreio 'B' vs Army 'A'
Over at Recreio, Army '' avenged their 'B' side's defeat by beating Recreio 'B' 3-0.
This was a much closer ecclest than the one at Sockenpoo and not as easy a win for Army 'A' } as the score suggest.
Recreio 'B' never gave up bul found Army's full-backs Felty- fer and Oliphant just a little to strong for them.
Army 'A' eered once in the first half through Humfrey in the 18th minute, and their two
second half goals came from Narbu Lana (501 minute) and Frumher (85th minute),
