WEST INDIES TIGHTEN GRIP ON 4th TEST

Adelaide, Jan. 31.

A second wicket stand of 163 between Conrad Hunte and Rohan Kanhai strengthened the West Indies' grip on the fourth Test here to- day, and at lunch the West Indles - 150 for one overnight-were 257 for two.

This made the West Indies 284 ahead with eight second inninga wickets standing --but only about 10 hours of play left..

Kanhal took the spotlight in. AN eventful morning's play with his second century of the match after a "delightful force- ful innings, thus joining that Illustrious band of cricketers who have made a century in successive Test innings.
