and there you have some of the ingredients that formed the background of a terrific Sing Tao victory over Tung Wah by three goals to one yesterday.
It is a long time since the Caroline Stadium has seen SO much effort put into 90 minutes and hotly tipped Tung Wah will long remember Sunday, October 9, 1960 as the day they were completely beaten all ends up by the youthful Tigers.
This was
one of Sing Tho's greatest moments. They played with tremendous spirit and long before the end they had run the star-studded Tunk Woh side in- to the ground. Inspired by the best display of goalkeeping Kwok Chow-ming has given in i years--maybe he just wanted to show Tunx Wah, his old club. Just what a good goalkeeper he really is--the Sing Too defence produced mobility and voran- lity that the opposition simply could not overcome.
Full-backs Lee Lai-kwong and Lok Pint-ylu did a fine Job and they reached the woo cer helehis during the closing stages when Turg Wah tried rather desperately. if some what crudely, to snatch face-saving goal.
