THE BOUDOIR beauty has had her day. The girl who drifted along in a cloud of chiffon hung with frills and festooned with fripperies is as dated as the chaise longue. She just couldn't keep pace with present- day living.

You can't greet the milkman in a Naughty- Nineties nightic. And you'd look pretty silly pottering out to water the geraniums in a little sce-through shift.

So from practicality a new fashion is born. A fashion which in one go kills the purposeless negligee and replaces the horror of the overall ཡ; fashion which, like all the best ideas, makes you wonder why They never thought of it before.

bidding mentioned from time to time in these articles is the 15-17 point no-trump. This is just one point less than the 10-18 point no-trump used by many players. If you desida lo play 15-17 instead of 16-18 the change over is easy. Just add one point to all your responses.

One of the valuable by-prod- ucls of the 15-17 point no- trump is that a player who opens with one of a suit and bids to one no-trump guarantees that he does not hold 15 high card points.
