FOR BOY

Mr K. A. S. Phillips, Contral Magistrato, this morning bought an English-Chínoso dictionary in open court for $11 and gave it to a 16-year-old student who was charged with stealing the book.

Mr Phillips, however, ordered the student, Sum Kumn-wing, of 17 Queen's Road West, 2nd floor, to sign a $50 good bo haviour bond. He also warned the boy that if he ever Went before court again, he would send him to jail.
