On the whole this was a some what disappointing match for much more had been expected
of the visitors.
However, I must say that the losers appeared to be sadly out of practice. Their outfield was an extremely weak one. The play of the team as a whole lucked the sparkle of previous Cana- dian sides and the customary chatter was not in evidence until the seventh inning. Pitcher | Johnson had nothing.on the ball while shortstop Davidson show- ed that he can really throw that bali.
