Jack Kramer, the American tennis promoter, predicted today that Open tournaments would novor como about in 1961 unless the International Lawn Tennis Federation abandon- ed the proposed ceiling of £100 prize money, The Federation meet in Paris In July to consider a special committee's eight-point proposals for Wimbledon and the other major Lawn Tennis Championships to stage Open tournaments from next year.
