ball match ever played for a long time, was witnessed over the Chinese New Year holidays when the U.S.A. upset Portugal 4-2 to earn the right to go into the Easter final play-off against China.
The Chinese boys had a surprisingly easy passage to the final round against an uninspired Philippines nine whom they beat 14-0 in the other semi-final game.
