for Olympic hockey tournament
Paris, Jan. 10.
The International Field Hockey Association today named the 16 teams which will participate in the tournament in the Rome Olympic Games.
India, Pakistan, Germany and the United Kingdom-stant- finallets in the 1950 Olymple tournament nt Melbourne--were automatically qualined. So was Illy, as the bust, nation.
That left 11 places to he telle en the ads of per- formances since the Melbourne Games, Twenty two nation had asked to like part.
If any of the original selections decided not to participate, the alternates will move into the Tournament.
