Very Fine Воднас
A revolutionary new type of pleasure boat is being built in England. Not only is the new blowly Turbocraft faster and simpler to run than any other powered piranuṛe boat but I'm also virtually uncapslaable.
Powered by a converted Ford Zephyr car engine, the Turbocraft is propelled by a jet of water sucked in through a grid in the bottom and shot out through a three-inch wide spout at the back, at a rate of 45 gallons a second. The bond in ruddertens; steering is effected by turning the box-shaped jei nozzle from side to sido by means of a car-type steering wheel. And even at top speeds the craft will turn without danger in its own length. The other great advantage is is lack of draught. Absolutely nothing projects below the hull, so thr Turbocraft can plane in as little an 4 inches of water. Four thousand of these boala are to
be built during the winter to sell at £798.
