WEEKEND SOFTBALL
SAINTS WILL NEED MORE
THAN EXPERIENCE
AGAINST SOUTH CHINA
By OLLY VAS
Six softball matches will be played off over the weekend and there should be no lack of excite- ment, particularly in the Senior division. The Cardinals open the programme with a game against the Dodgers, at 2.00 p.m., tomorrow and the Cheyennes come up against the Austers at 3.30 p.m.
For the Cardinals a much-needed win will mean a chance to catch up with the leaders in the Junior division. Having dropped three de- cisions they can ill-afford to lose again,
The Dodgers have lost ane out of three nutches but they are an unpredictable side where form is concerned. A Cardinal victory would not come as great surprise.
The Austers will rely on the services of B Siva as coach but they are in for another try Ing time all
the same. The Cheyennes should run the score up to double figures to stay at the head of the Junior league table.
Ladies' Match
Sunday's programme opens with a ladies' match, at 9.30 am, between the Matadors and the Cheyennes.

with 62 but that was not enough to prevent his side from losing by six wickets. The other batsman is M. Williamson and the bowler is George Souza Jr.-China Mail Photo.
