COURAGEOUS WELSH STAVE OFF
DEFEAT AFTER LOSING
LEFT-BACK IN 13TH MINUTE
Glasgow, Nov. 4. Wales hold Scotland to a 1-1 draw in their home international soccer championship match at Hampden Park here today despite being reduced to 10 men only 13 minutes after start. Watched by a 60,000 crowd, Wales fought with tremendous courage and considerable skill to save the match after losing their left-back Mel Hopkins with a suspect broken nose.
