MURDER TRIAL IN CLOSING STAGES Dr. Yap's Evidence On
Fourth Accused
The trial of four young men accused of beating So Shiu-bor, a comp leader, to death, at the Cape Collinson Boys' Train- ing Camp on November 17 last, reached its closing stages today.

The four accused are Yau Kin-wah, 20, Ng Tak-wai, 21, Chin Siu-kai, 20,
and Choi To, 19.

A 38-year-old woman, Tseng So-lin, who admitted the possession of 7.5 grammes of heroin, was sentenced to a year's im- prisonment and fined $10,000 (with the alternative of six months' gaol) by Mr T. L. Yang at Central Magistracy this morning.

Hongkong bird-watchers may be active on Sunday morning and evening to record the dawn and dusk chorus of birds throughout the Colony.
This information has been asked for by the World Bird Research Station at Glanton, Northumberland, England, who have included the Colony in their round-the-world observa- tion plan.
The Bird Research Station have sent correspondence to all parts of the globe, asking local bird-watchers to record the first and last bird songs on Sunday, May 17.
The secretary of the research station states that a good dawn or dusk recurd is a volushie plece of original informa- tion.

But he adds that the value of such a record is enhanced by un full detalls as possible such as position, accurate tinte, height above sea level, laillude or longitude, and number of singers of each species of bird (dentified.
