The USS Ranger, one of the four biggest warships in the world, is also the biggest warship to anchor in Colony waters. The 70,000-ton attack carrier is here on a recreational visit in the course of a Far Eastern tour.

Police Inspector's Evidence In Driving Case
Alexander Mackenzie Hardie, 40, of 2B, University Drive, charged with driving under the influence of liquor and with- out a valid licence, was described by a police witness at Central this morning, as being incapable of having proper con- trol of a vehicle.
