As the rugby season is now for all practical purpenes over and the Taiwanese who are still having visa difficulties have not yet left Kaoshiung, the IIKRU sent a cable to Taiwan this morning stating that it had to inform the Taiwanese with much regret that It is absolutely impossible to entertain them on a tour this season.

However, negotiations are now in progress for a possible visit to Talwan by a Colony XV either this year or next, and the HKRU hopes to be able to give further details of this tour in the near future.
