By A SPECIAL CORRESPONDENT Although the Hongkong Stack Exchange was quite steady this week, it was easier and prices tended to drift to lower levels.

The Hongkong Govern- ment "siny-put" budget had little effect on the market.

Losses

The reason for the light losses in the ulllity section was that une congnny was unload- ing a block of their utility hold- Ings, but most of this has now ht absorbed by the market,
