A number of large radioactive steel devices of "unmistakable Russian mako” havo been found imbedded in the occan floor off both the Atlantic and Pacific coasts of the North American continent. Newspaper columnist Robert S. Allen wrote in the New York Post that some of the devices - discovered by the American and Canadian navies were within the three-mile limit of both countries.

Naval authorities thought they were position markers to be used by Soviet submarines in a case of nucleur missile attacks against coastal cities, he said.
