Three Hexangular Rugby Games Today CLUB, NAVY AND POLICE FAVOURED OVER ARMY 'N', ARMY 'S AND RAF

There are three Hexangular and one 'friendly' games scheduled for this afternoon and spectators will be able to pick and choose which two they want to see, as the two grounds being used are next door to one another in Boundary Street.

In the big game of the day the Navy meet Army South on the Army ground at 4.15 p.m. In the earlier match Army North are at home to the Club at 3.00 p.m., whilst on the other ground at 4.15 p.m. the Police clash with the RAF in the third Hexangular match. As a curtaini raiser to this game Club "B" will play RAF “B”.

the lincouts Mander of Army South will again be the Navy's butA noire, and should Bet the ball back regularly.

In the pose it is anybody's guess wha will win, but the more Navy are usually the bustling pack.

Their pack is as strong as ever, and they should get a steady possession of the ball, and give their threes every chance. The almen's greatest strength lles in the centre of the threes where Burwood partners White, but defensively the almen are much weaker than the Club, and while the RAF pack is no cipher, they do not give their threes the cover

Shuffer is now confirmed as the Club hooker, which Le really good work for he onty Jeturned a few weeks ago, and like him, Paimaa has also consolidated his position 13 wing-forward, In fact The With a very strong three line behind them the Army South are today at maximum strength, with Shurn und Gould in the entre, but Clarke and Gilbert son TU the weak linke. Club wing forwards and lock must rank as one of the most dangerous combinations the neld, and they should dominate the nose to a large extent, helped by the fact that Meintosh is today playing as hooker.

centres are the weak Tinks and the ball is not likely to reach the wings.

The Army North pack Wynn and Muntz will presum- ably win the lineouts, but over- all the Club look far too power- ful. and should win by a reasonable score.

Altogether there is little to choose between the two XV'N but Army South's weakest point is Navy's strongest and the Navy in this column's choice for the Two points.

Two New Players

In the other Hexangular, the Police have discovered two new players and as a result their uneup has been switched round,

In defence that they will need today and the Club "B" should just win this match,
