The Busmen should have blown skyhigh the myth of their South China jinx at the Hongkong Stadium yesterday. They had chances enough to make the result secure long before
the halfway stage was reached
yet in the end they wore glad to settle for a rather precarious share of the
points in a one-all draw.
As the capacity crowd of nearly 30,000 filed out
the
of Stadium there seemed to be a feeling that it was a good result and one that generally reflected the run of play. I do not agree.
It is true South China finished strongly in the last twelve minutes but if this match had been decided on 'points' as in a boxing contest, KMB would have won by the proverbial mile.
