FOOD FACTORY IN TENEMENT

ORDERED TO STOP OPERATING STOVE

A firm which built a big factory stove and carried on busi-

ness frying beans and other foods in a Chinese tenement type flat was today ordered by a judge to stop operat- ing the stove.

The firm was also ordered, in a second injunction, to prevent "excessive

heat, smoke and obnoxious fumes" coming from its premises.
