RAF 'Island' No Match For Club 'A' In Yesterday's Rugger

By PAK LO

Yesterday evening's game between the Club "A" and RAF Island can

literally be said to have started with a bang.

A bang as MacTavish, the Club full-back tackled Kelly after he had

broken through the Club defence in the opening seconds.

A bang that sent Kelly off the field with a broken collar bone. But that

was the only explosion from the airmen.

After that, faced with the might of the Club their attack fizzled out like a damp squib and the Club won easily by 40 points (five goals, five tries) to nil.
