Kai Tak Roadway To Be Re-aligned

The Government Gazette published today, noti- fed the award of a contract to the Nam Hing Co, for the widening and re-alignment of Clear Water Bay Rond at Kai Tak Airport Terminal. The contract is worth $422,203.50.

The construction work entails the re-building of a stretch of Clear Water Bay Road of about 3,000 feet long to provide a convenient thoroughfare in front of the new airport terminal building at Kai Tak.

The section of the road to be re-aligned is that which stretches from the nullah near the present bus terminal to the entrance of the aircraft service area.

It is estimated that the work will be completed hy the end of November.
