Whatever kind of watch you may want, for an active life or for eventing elegance, Tudor, by Kolor, has the best of both worlds. The Tudor Oyster Princess, on the right, is completely water- proof in its Oyster case. It is u sturdy outdoor watch that can take all the rough treatment you

Communists spills
the beans
SOON after the news that he has resigned as prospective Socialist candidate for Exeter, Mr Gerald Sparrow (a Court, Bangkok) former judge of the International presents here a most remarkable interview. The grounds for Mr Sparrow's resignation in Exeter is his belief that Communist influence is infiltrating too powerfully into the British Socialist Party. With this conviction as back- ground, he went to see Mr Emile Burns, a member of the British Communist Party's Political Committee and one of the most influential men in British Communism. NATIONAL ANTHEMS
THE Modern Pentathlon World Championships are being ringed at Aldershot and Sandhurat next month- and that means the Bandmaster A.E. Hollowell of the Parachute Brigade had to collect the band parts of 13 national anthems. He had no dif- culty in getting those of Austria, Denmark, Finland, France, West Germany, Hungary, Italy, Sweden, Switzerland, the U.B.A. and the Soviet Union but those of Brazil and Rumia were harder to come by. All was well until Poland became an 11th-hour entrant for the championships. All the preparations had been based on acceplances from 13 overseas countries some of the urtangements had to be altered. Extra accommodation had to be provided for the team in quarters normally occupied by Sandhurst cadets. Additional batmen and Polish-speaking ilaison officers had to be found and also horses, saddles and bridles for the there are always provided by the host country. riding event The championships, which follow the Inter-Services Pentathion, will be staged from October 13 to 17.
