Two Colony Open lawn bowls championships records were set up during the week-end, one by Craigengowor's Miss Helen Kwong and the other by Francis Lee, also of Craigengower. By winning the ladies' pairs final on Saturday in partnership with Mrs Selina Silva, Helen became the first player, man or woman, to win three Open Colony titles in one season. Her achievement is the more creditable considering that she is also the current Colony triple champion at badminton.
