ARMY SPORTS

PARADE

The Sports Parade Spotlight features once again a departing sportsman in the person of WO Ken Burrows, REME, by whose departure Army swimming in general, and Army water- polo in particular lose a staunch follower. As its Secretary for the past two seasons, he has devoted a lot of time to running the Army water-polo league, and as captain and coach of the Army polo team he has done a great deal in bringing the side into prominence.

His cheery approach to the game has gained him a host of friends, and the swimming successes of members of his family speak volumes for his ability as a coach. The Army have fittingly awarded him his swimming "colours" and we are sure that on his return to the Aldershot area he will find plenty of work to do in this his favourite sport. Good luck Ken and "Bon Voyage."
