Tokyo, May 15. The International Olympic Committee today slashad the number of gymnastic entries from eight to five per nation as it decided the programme for the 1960 Olympic Games in Rome. Avery Brundage, IOC President, said that the track and field athletics events would be the same as at the 1956 Olympic Games in Mel- bourne but disclosed that the International Amateur Athletic Federation was studying a plan to reduce the number of entries.
