New York, May 7,

Southpaw Curt Simmons registered his first victory over the Dodgers in four years today when he pitched the Phillies to a 9-3 triumph with the aid of some robust hitting by Granny Hamner. Simmons, who had not beaten the Dodgers since August 10, 1954, scattered 11 hits in peating his third win of the season. He yielded all of Los Angeles' runs in the third when Carl Furillo tagged him for a three-run homer, Hammer got the Philin off to a recond defent. Ilookie Jol Philadelphia .... 200-001-230-0-160 quick load against loser Fred Kipp when ho singled

home two runs in the first inring. Stan Lopata's bases-empty homer tied the score at 3-3 in the sixth and Philadelphin routed Kipp with a three-run burst in the seventh. Hamner's double and Ted Kazanski's two-run single were the key blows in that frame.
