Washington, Mar. 17. Senator Henry M. Jackson (Democrat

Washington) called today for at least US$100 million in additional funds for research and development work on Navy anti-submarine warfare.

The Washington Democrat said testimony before his House-Senate atomic energy subcommittee showed "examples of critical research develop- ment programmes now going too slowly or else not being carried on because of lack of funds."
