After hopping in and out of innumerable seroplanes and being carried therein a distance equal almost to the orbit of a Aying dog, it has been a great delight to get one's feet firmly on the ground again and to enjoy a game of golf at St Andrews,

I have always suspected that late Harry Colt was the best golf architect of all time. He designed Pine Valley and many of our own finest courses, which will not enumerale ot this distance, in case I get one wrong, but I doubt whether ho ever did anything better than St Andrews, Trinidad — if only because he never in fact sel eyes on it.
