A new bonding technique to cut the cost of making laminates and to speed production has been introduced by The Armstrong Cork Co. Etd., with assistance from the G.E.C.
The new technique uses Ametals. It is applied either by rubber solution adhesive which rollers or spray and then hented la rapidly heated by infra-red to about 200°F.
