HONGKONG ARTISTS
Here in sovon pictures is a preview of the first exhibition by a group of six Western styla Hongkang painters who may one day be known as a "Hangkang School." Anyway here are Douglas Bland (founder) seen with his portrait of Professor Blundon, Julia Baron at work on a religious painting, Lui Shau-kwan (Western painting but he paints "flat", holds a Chinose brush the Chinese way, and notice the "Chinese mist" in his picture below the city on the mountain?!), Ruth Robertson at work 'afloat,' and' two paintings by the other two painters of this group, Kwong You-ting and Lee Kwok-wing, (Contributed) :
