BRITAIN'S RYDER CUP WIN WAS A SHOT IN THE ARM

FOR BRITISH GOLFERS

The captain of Britain's Ryder Cup team said at the air- port this morning that the victory "has given British golfers a real shot in the arm."

The skipper, Dal Rees, passed through Hongkong early this morning by BOAC en-route to Japan to repre- sent Wales at the forthcoming Canada Cup Tourna- ment. He will be partnered by David Thomas who Is at present in Australia.
