Of

The Hongkong Jockey Club opens its 1957/58 Racing Season at Happy Valley tomorrow. There is a full programme of ten interesting events and the first saddling bell will be rung at 1.30 p.m. and the first racè van dt 2 p.m.

The best event of the meeting is the Chater Cup, a handicap race for

Class 1 ponies from the two-mile post, once round and in. Here are my estimates of the chances:-
