"Life With The Lyons" Series Starts
On Thursday
On Thursday New Zealand is celebrating the 50th anniversary of the granting of Dominion status. New Zealand is still a young country, but its achievements during the last fifty years have made it one of the most prosperous and thriving members of the British Commonwealth.

At 8.45 p.m. next Thursday, Radio Hongkang is broadcasting a 15-minute programme of New Zealand verse, in which the narrator will be Professor E. Horsman, a New Zealander who has recently been appointed to the Chair of English in Otago University. He has chosen from the works of contemporary poets a "handful of poems which say something direct about the quality of life in New Zealand,"
