Judge K. R. Macfee at the Victoria District Court this morning granted an application for an adjournment of the action against the Peak Tramways, Ltd, in order that a German interpreter may be obtained for Mr Karel Weiss, managing director of the plaintiff company.
The Judge, however, sefuse an appicatio for the evidence, of Mr Welsa to be taken all ever ogain.

Mr Weire was being eros examined when the hearing was adjourned for the day last week. The plaintiff firm, The Graphic Press, Ltd. et Hoom 304. Queen's Road Central, sued the tramways company in the sum of $3.482.19 for work done and material used in pursuance of an alleged verbal agreement that the tramways would buy up re- nerve storks of tickets, which the defendants deny.
