H-BOMB HAS ENDED DEMOCRACY ON Russia's Eagerness For

PEACE No Arguments Over Declaring War-Bevan

Manchester, June 23.

Mr Aneurin Bevan, Treasurer of the British Labour Party, said here today that the existence of the hydrogen bomb had ended democracy in Britain and the United States insofar as issues of pence and war were concerned.

"The hydrogen bomb is essentially a weapon of surprise," Mr Bevan told a Labour Party rally. "The one who uses it first might win.

On Sunday, June 16, Bishop Dietzfelbinger consecrated the rebuilt Christuskirche'. The church was completely destroyed during the war and was one of the oldest buildings in Nurenberg.
