Two candidates for the Urban Couriefl Extraordinary Election, which is being held on Wednesday, will be presenting their platforms. on Monday and Tuesday. Mr K. B. Allport will Kouvieky speak for the Civic Association at 8.10 p.m...on Monday. Mr Brook Bernacchl will speak for the Reform Club at 8.10 p.m. on Tuesday,

Broadcasting tomorrow and on Monday starts at eight o'clock in the morning and will be continuous throughout the day. One of the highlights of Monday's broadcasts will be a performance of Johann Strauss's operetta, "Vienna Blood," which contains many of Strauss's well-loved and immortal melodies, including such well-known titles as "The Emperor Waltz" and "Artist's Life Waltz.* This programme is at half-past one on Monday.

On Tuesday at 'half-past ten the versatile John Wallace takes upon himself the role of disc jockey in the first of a new series of programmes called “Look What I've Found.” The title gives some indication of what listeners may expect, for John has been digging into the collections of records owned by his friends and into the darker, less accessible corners of some of the record shops.

What he finds there will heard on the programme arid he hopes to introduce you to some recordings and 10 some which have not been heard for same years.
