High Speed Roads

By GORDON MARTIN

Geneva, June 4. Western European capitals will be linked, by 1970, by about 6,200-mile network of high speed motor roads if plans now being drawn up by experts in seven different countries, materialise.

A report published by the International Road Federation at its Geneva headquarters shows that at present Western Europe has only about 2,191 miles of these highways, out of a total of about 1,134,217 miles of roads of all categories.
