(who had been named as the eighth defendant then) with a view to his bringing certain documents to Court
For the defence, Mr T. O, Wong give evidence. No other evidence was lead on behalf of the defence,
The issue for the Trial Judge, to decide, Counsel said, had been whether or not, from the clr- cumstances and the documentary evidence, and the testimony of the two witnesses, there had been a transfer of the business by Ting to all the defendants,
The Trial Judge had to find, from the evidence before him, what the intention of the parties
wire.
Mr d'Almada said the Court had bolare. it a notice of motion for leave to adduce further evidence by Ting Siu-ming. In support of his motion, he had fted two affidavits, one by Mr Comber, of Hastings and Co., and the other by manager of the third defendant firm.
Counsel said he was applying for leave to call this evidence because it was his submission that evidence could not bo obtained after due diligence at the time of the trial.
He submitted it was evidence which, given at the trial, would most probably have had vital influence on its result.
'Not Established'
Replying, Mr Bernacchi sald

It has not been shown, Mr Bernacchi continued, that Ting's evidence would be such as could reasonably be believed. The Trial Judge, he sald, had degeribod IT T. 0, Winga evidence as "untenablo" in the Ance of the doctamentary ovidence.
Counsel said he would submit that Ting's evidence was likely to be untenable also in the face of thogo sazne documenta.
Chief Justice, said the The Court would reservó la decision on this point, and directed Mr d'Almada - to file an pikavit| stating the nature, of the evid- ence fie intended to esll, Hearing-la' continuing.
A Swee-eeping Change In HK Coiffures
Miss Chang shows the style
There has been a sweeping change in feminine coiffures In Hongkong. It's not the Hepbum cut, or a style which has emanated from Raymond or French.
This time it is the East which has set the fashion, Hongkong hairdressers have been unusually busy
giving young Chinese girls that side-swept look for they want to look like "The Most Beautiful Creature in Taiwan," the Chinese cinema actress, Chang Chung-wen.
In the Beautiful Creature cut the hair is kopt fairly long and loosely curled and swept over to one side of the face behind the ears. The symmetrical Miss Chang introduced
asymmetrical hairdo during her recent stay in the Colony,
