The Shing Mun reservoir, one of the three large reservoirs in the Colony, is overflowing following continuing rains over the weekend, the Water Authority announced this morning.

The rains during the weekend resulted in a nei galn for the reservoirs of 537 million gallons. At 8 a.m. today, total storage amounted to 8,254 million gallons.

Of the other two large reser- voirs, Tytum Tuk, with 1,074' million gallons, is nearly full, being the water, this morning only four feet seven inches from the top, and the Colony's newest reservoir at Tai Larn Chung, is gallons.
