The story of how two men entered a house in Reclamation Street last January by a ruse and robbed of gold articles and a 63-year-old Chinese woman money was told before Mr Justice A.D. Scholes at the Criminal Sessions this morning at the trial of two men charged with robbery with aggravation.

The courageous struggle put up by a young factory girl against three men who allegedly robbed her on the stairway of her home in Kow loon City was told when two unemployed men appeared on trial for robbery with aggravation before Mr Justice C. W. Recce, Puisne Judge, in the Criminal Sessions this morning.
The offence was said to have taken place about
9 o'clock on the night of January 21, when Wong Yin- chun, the complainant, was returning home. The robbers allegedly took a wrist-watch from her and then tried to gag her with an orange pushed into her mouth. She held on tenaciously to her pay, envelope, amounting to $56, which she had just received and kept in a cont pocket, despite attempts by the robbers to dislodge her grip.
