Two overseas artists at present in Hongkong are the tenor, Andrew Gold, and his wife, soprano Pamela Woolmore. Both these singers, visiting the Colony for the first time, have been very active

Andrew Gold, a New Zealander by birth, has sung with choral societies in every

major Cathedral in the British Isles, and as a member of the English Opera Group under Benjamin Britten sang in the operas "Albert Herring,' "Dido and Aeneas," The Beggars' Opera." and "Let's Make an Opera."

It was whilst singing with the latter that he met his wife, and this gifted couple will be broadcasting a recital on Radio Hongkong at 9.30 on Monday evening, when their programme will include ducts by Purcell and Handel.

"This Week"-Tonight's pro- gramme recalling the week's Topleal events will include an interview with Pamela Wool- more and Andrew Gold; a com- on the architectural ex- ment hibitlun "Home and Surround- ings" now showing in Hongkong an interview with Art Link- Jotter,

famous American television and radio personality and creator of the TV show "People are Funny"; and an ac- count of the aging of the foundation stone of the St John's Ambulance Brigade Head- quarters by His Excellency the Governor,

In this play the interest-andl, incidentally, the warning-- centres on a remarkable Anglo- Suxon silver crown. The scene is set in 10wn on the East
