A British and an American company announced today that they will build the world's first "boiling water-type" nuclear power plant for a German power company (Rheinishche-Westfalische Elektrizitats-

worke) on the River Rhine,

Britain's Mitchell Engineering, Ltd., said it will construct the £1,750,000 plant in co-operation with a subsidiary of the American Machine and Foundry The site is expected to be Corp. of New York.
