Remembrance Day Ceremony
At The Cenotaph
Tomorrow is Remembrance Sunday, and in Hongkong the commemoration of those who fell in the two World Wars will take the form of a special religious service at the Cenotaph in Statue Square, and the laying of wreaths at the Chinese War Memorial in the Botanical Gardens,
The Cenotaph ceremony will be held in the presence of His Excellency the Governor, Sir Alexander Grantham, GCMG, and the Chiefs of Staff. Over 400 officers and men from the three; Armed Services, and the Royal Hongkong Defence Force will take part in the Ceremony.
Representatives of all communities in the Colony at the have been invited to attend and lay wreaths Cenotaph.
